One of the hottest things on the internet right now is Pixel Ads, combine that with dating and you get Meet by pixels.com which aims to create a community where people can meet and make new friends by clicking each others “pixel images”, totally FREE.

How Meet by Pixels works:

Simply add your pixel image to the homepage (free).
You can browse the website and meet other people by clicking their pixels and reading their profile information.
To read more about a person click on their image and a pop-up will appear containing their profile.
To contact “pixel friends” you can click through to their website or blog from their profile pop-up page.

Everyone is welcome to add pixels, which are available from 100-pixel 'blocks' (each measuring 10x10 pixels) through to 900-pixel 'blocks' (each measuring 30x30 pixels). The homepage is divided into 10,000 of these 100-pixel blocks (1,000,000 pixels in total). The minimum sapce per person is one block because smaller anything smaller would be too small to display anything effectively. The maximum space is (3x3 blocks = 30x30 pixels). Your best bet is to go for the bigger pixels (3x3), but these won't last long, so be quick.

Keep in mind that you may only submit your image "pixel face" once, while there are spaces available (see live stats in the top right hand corner of the page). When you add your pixels, you can then display an image in the space you have selected. You can also have your profile list a hyperlink to your website, blog or myspace profile link. However, no obscene or offensive images are allowed. Only for personal use and links to personal websites, blogs etc. Not for business or commercial use.

Conditions of Submission

• Minimum allocation: (1 Pixel block - 10x10 pixels). Maximum is (3 Pixel blocks - 30x30 pixels) first in best dressed, so be quick.
• 10% pixels will always be available, therefore pixels will expire. Oldest first.
• Only images of faces are to be displayed. No other pictures
• You can only submit your image once
• For personal and private use only. For example links to your blog, personal website or myspace account profile. No commercial websites.
• No obscene/offensive or pornographic images/links will be accepted.
• If your link is accepted and you later change the content of the linked site to show offensive/obscene material then your link will be removed until you provide a new one.
• You can get your image removed at any time but the space will become publicly available again, please contact me if you wish to remove your image.
• All images will be resized to width=300  height=300 pixels so that is the maximum size you should supply for best image viewing. Images must be in GIF or JPEG format AND not animated.
• Links must be to your website, blog or myspace profile only and begin with http:// (optional to list website)
• You must have the right to use the image and link you provide.
• Your pixels will be added within 24 hours from time of submission.

To select your "pixel area" Visit the grid page and simply click on the cell that you would like to allocate. After you click on 1 pixel you will be directed to the “Add your FREE Image Link” page where you will be able to assign your “pixel face” image to your selected pixel range. You will be able to specify how many pixels you wish to expand to i.e. (1x1, 2x2 or 3x3). As mentioned earlier, it’s best to supply a width=300 x height=300 image. This image will be used for your pixels and for you profile pop-up page.
